Alewives are running at Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder!
Love that spot, its magical.  Worth a day trip!!!!!
and you can stop in and get a famous lobster roll at reds eats in Wiscassett!
Spring is here I can feel the BIG migration heading our way.

Thought some of you might like to know about this event:
 
The Natural Resources Council of Maine and Maine Audubon are co-hosting about the impact of climate change on Maine's native wildlife, including birds. We're bringing a panel of Maine scientists together Wednesday, May 8th at 7:00 p.m. Panelists include  Dr. Brian Olson, University of Maine in Orono, the impacts of climate change on birds.

Also, alewives must be starting to run, as Ospreys and gulls have been increasingly gathering over Cobbossee Stream in Gardiner, a great opportunity for great looks/photographing Ospreys.
