Currently (Sunday morning) about a dozen GREAT EGRETS in the Essex Woods marsh. The majority are in a large group in the thick brush at the Molly Lane end of the marsh. Numerous others standing and flying about. Reminds me of Ding Darling NWR in November...
Also several shorebirds about in the Sora Pond, and numerous Confusing Fall Warblers in the trees.
