We observed 7 species of shorebirds today at the Addison Ponds - the most notable being a juvenile Sanderling (we hadn't seen on in the ponds before!). Along with the usual Least and Semipalmated Sandpipers, there were both yellowlegs, Semi-palmated Plovers and a lone White-Rumped Sandpiper.
