Around 2:30 p.m. on 8/17/2015, a Great Egret flew right over me as I was swimming in the Harrington River and landed in a tree just 20 feet away for a few minutes before taking off again. Back on August 5, 2015, we saw at least six Great Egrets in a tree overlooking the marsh near the Harrington River.
