[Maine-birds] Sabattus Lake Merlins, Lesser Yellowlegs

Hello All,

Paddling by kayak in late afternoon from the northern end of the Lake saw two Merlin, one actively and successfully pursuing dragonflies and butterflies and eating them; and a Lesser Yellowlegs, first heard and then seen flying over lake.  Thunder shortened my trip and I did not get to the areas of floating vegetation that often attract shorebirds in migration.
