Hello All,
Paddling by kayak in late afternoon from the northern end of the Lake saw two Merlin, one actively and successfully pursuing dragonflies and butterflies and eating them; and a Lesser Yellowlegs, first heard and then seen flying over lake. Thunder shortened my trip and I did not get to the areas of floating vegetation that often attract shorebirds in migration.--
