Skip Small,my son Ryan and myself went down this morning hoping to see the bird. We met Casey Hynes and Rob Speirs as they were leaving. We got the bird right off and got great initial looks at it,then it hung in some taller grass and was challenging to see but our first looks were awesome !!! John Tobin went there late yesterday afternoon and saw it as well. Who would have thought that I would get 3 different species of Longspurs within a year here in Maine !
