[Maine-birds] Pine Point

I’m on Day One of a 7-day tour through Maine with a group from the Dayton, Ohio, Audubon. Highlights of the day came at Pine Point breakwater in Scarborough when we had to choose which to look at first, one Piping Plover, two Red-throated Loons, or two Roseate Terns. As one participant said, “where else can you get THAT combination?” We scooped up both sharp-tailed sparrows, and then had lunch at the Lobster Shack at Dyer Point where three Black Scoters were mingled with the eiders.
