Saw the Golden Eagle Saturday at about 1030 from the gate at the Bath landfill. Got two pretty good looks at it. At least four juvenile baldies, all seen at the same time. Could be more there. Two Iceland gulls, and a pile o’ ravens, crows and starlings and other gulls too.
Also tried the two boat launches on the river in Bath. Found a near adult bald eagle riding a floe at the north launch. And there was a Northern Shrike at the south launch along with a smattering of typical waterfowl.
