Around 8:30 am today I observed an adult Black-headed at the harbor side lobster impoundment. This species eluded us on Saturday's CBC, but will suffice as a count week bird. It is currently raining hard at the harbor and I don't recommend the drive to Owls Head this morning; I am here only on business, and would otherwise be at home.
