[Maine-birds] Paved paradise- put up a parking lot; snow buntings

The power-line tower construction on Browns Point Road (Bowdoinham) is in full swing.  Remains to be seen the impact on bird habitat there.

Today, a flock of snow buntings was picking up grit on the road (now maintained for heavy trucks) then flying to the far corner of "Small Wonders" field, a spot that attracted many sparrows this fall.  No other species seen in the flock.
