[Maine-birds] rw blackbird in Sidney

The rain has opened up a four or five-foot diameter patch on our lawn and a rw blackbird wasted no time finding it. He was accompanied by 7 robins who split themselves between the driveway and the patch. The blackbird also has discovered sunflower seeds under the feeder so I'm enjoying the contrast of my winter feeder birds (chickadee, wb nuthatch) and the blackbird. Happy spring, such as it is.
