Clare Cole and I saw and photographed a Snowy Owl at the Hampden Business and Commerce Park yesterday morning at around 8am. She had seen it in the same vicinity a few days earlier after hearing about it from one of her kids' friends. This business park is off Rt. 202, and the owl wason a utility pole near Clean Harbors Environmental Services. Previously it was seen at quite a distance in a grassy area in a snow-covered field just as you enter the business park.
