Got good looks at a BH Vireo singing at the edge of my backyard forest just now. Also heard mid-morning, strangely, was a prolonged hoot-fest by a pair of Great Horned Owls, back in the woods-- they went back and forth (one higher and faster than the other) for about half an hour, which seemed unusual during the day.
