[Maine-birds] Ruddy Turnstones and Laughing Gulls on Flat Bay

Yesterday morning at low tide we observed 3 Ruddy Turnstones with a flock of Black-bellied Plovers feeding on the mudflats of Flat Bay.  We wonder if these birds are the same ones we saw on the Pleasant River mud banks last Friday.

Also, the raucous cries of Laughing Gulls attracted our attention this morning - this is the earliest they have arrived at Flat Bay in the 4 years we have observed the bay in the spring.
