[Maine-birds] Shorebirds coming into Flat Bay

Yesterday morning we observed 14 Ruddy Turnstones among a flock of 150+ Black-bellied Plover.  FOY shorebirds on the mudflats include Short-billed Dowitchers and Semipalmated Sandpipers.

We're up early to head to Eastport to lead a morning birding tour there for the Downeast Bird Festival and then this afternoon we'll lead a pelagic tour out of Eastport!  Gonna be a fun day!
