[Maine-birds] ROSEATE SPOONBILL tips

Just passing on a message from the landowners for anyone going to see the Spoonbill in Dover-Foxcroft; they asked for people to all park on the same side of the road as other borders. If people park on both sides, there isn't room for traffic to get through so continue to use common sense and don't block traffic.

We spoke to the landowners several times today and they were super nice. Please continue to show them respect and they will do the same. Everyone was on good behavior today while I was there.

In regards to the bird, the landowners also mentioned that the bird seems to feed early morning and late afternoon (around 4pm). It tends to roost through midday in the same tree behind the first pond. We arrived after it's morning feeding, but what we observed today was consistent with what they said. 4:07, the bird finally flew out of the sleeping tree to feed in the front pond.

Bird haahd,
Noah Gibb-Freeport
