[Maine-birds] Backyard Bohemians in Gardiner & Richmond Horned Larks

Jeff just called to tell me I’m missing out on a flock of about 20 Bohemian Waxwings alighting on the ground to drink the melting snow in our neighbor’s yard behind our house in Gardiner.

 

Also, yesterday, on Weeks Road in Richmond, we saw 20 Horned Larks.

 

And saw our first Eastern Phoebe  yesterday along the river in South Gardiner.
