Re: [Maine-birds] Five Fox Sparrows - Yarmouth

I, too, have had fox sparrows (Bowdoinham) since April 5. Four of them, I think, singing back and forth. Fox sparrows have never stayed more than one day and last year I had none. I had never heard their song before either.
 Redpolls still here, about 10 of them.

I've had Fox Sparrows at my feeder now since March 21, but today beat my previous record of four. 
 
Five today, and they've been singing in the morning for a week now.  I know they won't stay much longer, but they sure are fun to have while they last!
