[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 6/29-7/5

Hi all,
My observations of note over the past seven days were as follows:
- A few photos of the Brunswick Scissor-tailed Flycatcher from 6/30 can be seen here (link to first of three):

- Monhegan Island, 7/1-2 (with Jeannette):
1 continuing EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE
1 singing TENNESSEE WARBLER
3 Black Scoters
1 continuing Merlin
1 Atlantic Puffin, close to shore off Black Head (multiples on Hardy Boat ferry to and from, which is more regular than from the island in summer).

- Cap'n Fish Whale Watch, Boothbay Harbor, 7/5 (with Pat Moynahan):
314 Wilson's Storm-Petrels
32 Northern Gannets
9 Great Shearwater (FOY)
3 Sooty Shearwater (FOY)
1 Least Tern (oddly feeding 15+ miles off Boothbay Harbor)
1 subadult light morph PARASITIC JAEGER (FOY)
