[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 7/20-26

Hi all,
A few observations of note over the past seven days between visiting and visitors for me included the following:
- the family group of Peregrine Falcons with 3 fledglings has been very active in and around the dam and mills between downtown Brunswick and Topsham have been very conspicuous this week. Our Saturday Morning Birdwalk group enjoyed a heckofa show from the Topsham side on 7/20.
- 1 1st summer RED-THROATED LOON, Fort Foster, Kittery, 7/22.
- 225-250 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 118 Sanderlings (FOF), 11+ Piping Plovers, etc, Popham Beach State Park, Phippsburg, 7/24.
