Hi all,
-- Sorry for the late post! Busy time of year here with many tern and alcid chicks about! Just wanted to share that I found a Wilson's Plover on Seal Island NWR on the 13th. See photos in ebird checklist: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S58183451. This was certainly not a species on my radar for this island as the habitat seemed way off. Like other rare shorebirds I have had here on Seal, it was a one day wonder. Regardless, pretty amazing considering its the furtherest north and east of the only 9 accepted/historical/ not reviewed records in the state and apparently the first away from a sandy beach!
Regards and Razorbills,
Keenan Yakola
