[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week, 12/7-13

Hi all,

Just a few more observations of note over the past seven days for me included:

- 600-800 mixed Greater and Lesser Scaup with 200-400 Surf and White-winged Scoters continuing, Mere Point Boat Launch, Brunswick, 12/7 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk Group).

- 1 female Red-winged Blackbird, 1 Savannah Sparrow, and 12 Snow Buntings, Highland Road, Brunswick, 12/9.

- 1 PINE WARBLER, Curtis Farm Preserve, Harpswell, 12/12.

- Peak's Island, 12/13 (with Robby Lambert):

1 YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT

1 female COMMON YELLOWTHROAT

1 GRAY CATBIRD

2 counter-SINGING (!!!) Winter Wrens

1 male Red-winged Blackbird

2 Swamp Sparrows

1 Northern Flicker

1 Merlin
