Another beautiful day to be outside! Moderate winds out of the northwest started the day, shifting north and teetering northeast into the afternoon.
Raptor Observations:
After a big push yesterday, migration activity was intermittent.
Non-raptor Observations:
33 species were observed from the summit today. Non-raptor individuals deemed migrating included: 18 Tree Swallows 1 Double-crested Cormorant
Predictions:
Another cool day tomorrow. Moderate to strong southeast winds with heavy gusts possible. Some precipitation possible in the afternoon and evening. Depending on the weather, some birds may be moving earlier in the day.
