Visitors:
6 people visited the hawk watch today. Strong winds kept most visits brief.

Weather:
Another cool and windy day on the summit. Moderate winds started the day getting stronger as the day went on, accompanied by some very strong gusts at times.

Raptor Observations:
Winds were just a bit too strong for many birds to be moving. The few that were observed migrating were quite low again due to strong winds.

Non-raptor Observations:
27 species were observed from the summit. Individuals deemed migrating included: 3 American Goldfinches 1 Double-crested Cormorants

Predictions:
Somewhat warmer with plenty of sunshine forecast for tomorrow. Moderate west winds turning southwest and carrying strong gusts into the afternoon. If winds behave as predicted, it could be a good day for diurnal raptor migration.
