[Maine-birds] Re: American Wigeon

There have been 12 of them in the area.  They also frequent the coves by Buoy Park, the Landings Marina, and the Fish Pier.  Occasionally, they also can be seen in front of Sandy Beach or in the cove between Archer's on the Pier and the YMCA.

We saw a handsome male American Wigeon about halfway out the Rockland breakwater this afternoon. A first for me.
