The bird continues as of 11:30am. A large crowd is assembled just before the small bridge coming from the Capisic St entrance, and the Redwing has been in the dense multiflora rose thicket there for several hours.

This is the 2nd (!!) Redwing in Maine this month and amazing for a species not previously recorded in the state. One was seen in Steuben by a single observer on private property and not seen again earlier this month. There has recently been a Redwing in New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
