[Maine-birds] REDWING at Capisic Pond Park, Lucas St end

Brendan McKay found a REDWING (Turdus iliacus) loosely with American Robins at Lucas Street end of Capisic Pond Park (that's the northwest end of park). Doug Hitchcox relayed word, and I am posting for him.

This is the 2nd (!!) Redwing in Maine this month and amazing for a species not previously recorded in the state. One was seen in Steuben by a single observer on private property and not seen again earlier this month. There has recently been a Redwing in New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
