Hi all,
A very light flight passed over and through Sandy Point Beach, Cousin's Island, Yarmouth this morning. The flight was lighter than I expected from the overnight radar images. Perhaps a good portion of that return were shorebirds and species that do not partake in the morning redetermined migration.
Meanwhile, I continue to work with CMP (and now the Town of Yarmouth) to finalize a resolution from this spring's over-cutting at the point. Two trees will soon be planted at the terminus of the point to replace the "Magic Birch" that was taken down. I hope to have the final details sorted out soon, and will report back as soon as possible.
