[Maine-birds] Snowy Egret, Penobscot County, 08/07

Hi everyone,

Just past low tide today (around noon), there was a Snowy Egret feeding on the mudflats near the Orrington Public Boat Launch. Jerry Smith and Steve Mierzykowski were able to get there to see the bird too. Not a lot else going on though - a couple Leasts and a Spotted Sandpiper were the only shorebirds present.
