What a treat to see a Great Blue Heron fly and land on the shore of the cove and then not a minute later to see a juvenile Bald Eagle fly over - this against the punctuated reds of Cardinals and Red-Bellied Woodpeckers waiting their turn at the feeders and suet. A wonderful Christmas morning treat.
