Pine Grosbeaks, 4 3 fem one male eating Winterberries on the shore
House finches, though not uncommon, certainly I have had for three days a flock of 9, which is huge for House finches here. I usually only have 1-3 and sporadically.
Happy holidays to all of you. Now, I"m off to make pies. Perhaps some of those finches will make a nice savory filling..........with winterberries? Oh, wait, that's been done. It's called pemican.
