[Maine-birds] 51 (!!!) white-winged gulls, Portland Harbor, 3/2

Hi all,

Yesterday, Kristen Lindquist and I enjoyed an outstanding show in Portland Harbor featuring a very conservative tally of 12 Glaucous and 39 Iceland gulls.  It's by far the most I've seen in the harbor, but I'm guessing that it pales in comparison to the "good ol' days."   Photos and discussion are on my blog today:
