Yesterday an Osprey on it's nest. The power line cut on Rt. 100 in Clinton. Just below Benton Falls.
Today a Woodcock peenting at dawn and a Tree Swallow on phone lines. Waning Rd. Unity.
Two Killdeer at the catch basin Unity College.
Two pair of Hooded Mergansers where Twenty Five Mile Stream crosses Rt. 139 in Unity. It looked like there was some courtship behavior going. Both males had their crests up and a female was swimming back and forth
in front of a male. She kept bobbing her head up and down and dipping the tip of her bill in the water.
Saw a Wood Duck in the same place yesterday.
