Phippsburg, Me Map 6 Totman Cove
had 3 Great Blue Herons all at once here in the cove, flying around in circles, oddly. It almost looked like they couldn't believe they were finally over open water! First of year here
Also, last night at exactly midnight there was a Song Sparrow singing outside my window! I thought it was the TV at first so shut the volume off and lo! It was a singing fool I heard! I have them all winter, so they are not an odd bird here, but the time was weird.
My crocuses burst out today, too.
