FW: [Maine-birds] Crested Caracara

As of about 20 minutes ago it had spent the better part of an hour roosting low in tall pines at the back edge of the field about a hundred meters west of the farmhouse opposite Waste Management landfill entrance road, at times fairly well hidden.

Like its location last week, this is a busy road with lots of trucks. Be careful not to, in Don Mairs' words, "join the caracara food bank."
