A beautiful Buff-breasted Sandpiper has been hanging around at the south end of Mother's Beach in Kennebunk, just by Lord's Point. It was there mid to late afternoon, both yesterday and today (along with swarms of semipalm sandpipers, a few leasts, a few white rumped, a couple of ruddy turnstones, etc.)
Ken Janes got some nice photos (better than my point and shot below). We'll post some tonight to the York County Audubon Facebook page.
Also found an American Golden Plover this morning at the beach by South Point Sanctuary in Biddeford Pool. Bill Grabin (and full credit to Monica for finding the BB yesterday and the Golden today)
