A Thick-billed Murre at high tide on Mud Creek, far up the Skillings River in Lamoine, was a surprise find earlier today! This is an area that flats out at low tide. Very much NOT a pelagic zone where I normally see these birds. For anyone interested, it was right at the bridge where Mud Creek Road crosses Mud Creek.
