We live on Broad Cove on the St. George River in Cushing and we had what we're pretty sure was a golden eagle sighting on Wednesday after it took an airborne gull and landed in a tree in our yard. Had a good look at it and the extreme wingspan and overall size and feathered legs seemed definitive. Any other reports in this area?
