Hi all - An immature N. Shrike has been seen on the lower end of the Cape Road in Tremont (Seal Cove) in the past 24 hours, seen by myself late yesterday afternoon and again late this afternoon, and also by a friend who spotted it both times. The shrike has been been moving between high perches with typical rapid wingbeats along the inland side of the road by the cove.
-- Separately, last Friday morning, Will Russell and I located a Great Horned Owl on S. Causeway Lane in Southwest Harbor thanks to a frantic and noisy mob of Am. Crows.
Cheers,
Craig K
