[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 1/14-18

Hi all,

My observations of note over the past five days included:

- 1 continuing MERLIN, sporadically being seen at the store since 12/16.

- 1 continuing pair Evening Grosbeaks, our yard in Pownal.

- the merganser "hat trick" continues at Lower Falls Landing/Grist Mill Park in Yarmouth

- 1 continuing adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, 3 continuing RING-NECKED DUCKS, 1 continuing drake Barrow's Goldeneye, and 1 continuing giant ICE DISK, Westbrook Riverwalk and Riverbank Park, 1/17.

- 4-5 1st-winter and 2 2nd-winter Iceland Gulls, Portland Harbor, 1/18.
