[Maine-birds] Arrivals Study 2018

Dear All

I loved participating in Herb Wilson's arrival study, so I continued my own last year here in Buxton.

For anyone interested, my 2018 tracking sheet can be found here.

Of note last year:

- American Woodcock (heard once only, in past years was nightly for much of early Spring)
- Hermit Thrush (only seen once and not heard, again was a nightly sound in years past)
- Palm Warbler (usually seen early in the migration when heading north but not seen or heard in 2018)

Eastern Towhee, Brown Thrasher and House Wren, who were all present when we moved to Buxton in 2001, have not been seen or heard for many years now.

Happy 2019 Arrivals!
