[Maine-birds] Cumberland Redpolls/Sharp-Shinned Hawk

So the CORE are still hanging around but have been a lot more sporadic at the feeders since the recent warm spell. With a lot more exposed areas in the woods I am assuming they are supplementing their diets at my feeders now. Today another motivator for them to move on arrived with the FOY Sharp-Shinned Hawk sitting outside. It was polite enough to sit long enough for me to get the camera thankfully.

After all, when you get invited to a smorgasbord, it is only fair that you let the host get a picture!

😊

Cheers,

Rob O'Connell
