Got your seeds ordered and garden equipment serviced?
Mama Nature is throwing some awfully strong hints.
Thursday I spotted one extra JUNCO (making a total of two).
Friday brought a half dozen STARLINGS.
Dawn today (Saturday) revealed upwards of 3 dozen ROBINS foraging on the lawn.
By mid-morning, water pooled on the lawn had attracted a bright MALLARD drake and several (7+) FOX SPARROWS were gleaning around the boardwalks.
A few minutes ago I flushed a WOODCOCK that was foraging in the flower plot next to our basement wall.
