I made a foray into the Kennebunk Land Trust's "For All Forever" property this afternoon and was rewarded with at least three, possibly four, Palm Warblers, and a couple of Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The questionable warbler was not with the others, and was across the Mousam River, too far to get a decent look. Might well have been a Pine rather than a Palm. Phoebes were numerous -- saw at least four pair. A brief drive-by of the Maguire Road section of the Kennebunk Plains got me a FOY Kestrel.
-- Recent sightings of interest around the house include a couple of Flickers (off and on for several days now), a FOY Yellow-rumped Warbler, the first Yellow-bellied Sapsucker we've had in several years, and a flyover by a mature Bald Eagle the afternoon of the 14th. Perhaps best of all, the pair of Bluebirds that had been hanging around through much of the winter has apparently decided to occupy the nesting box in the middle of the yard.
