Visitors:
8 people visited the hawk watch.

Weather:
Winds behaved better than predicted. Light southwest winds were relatively consistent through most of the day, shifting more south and picking up speed slightly into the afternoon, and southeast by the end of the day. Plenty of variable cloud cover all day.

Raptor Observations:
First Peregrine Falcon of the season! Winds were in favor of observable diurnal migration activity. Excellent push of falcons today, as well as decent Sharp-shinned and Broad-winged Hawk migration.

Non-raptor Observations:
41 species were observed from the summit today. Individuals deemed migrant included: 7 European Starlings 34 American Goldfinches 4 Purple Finches 17 Common Grackles 67 Blackbird sp. 3 Canada Geese

Predictions:
Another cool day tomorrow. Light northwest winds with variable cloud cover predicted. If winds are light enough, we may see some birds moving.
