Winds out of the northwest were somewhat stronger than hoped for; A beautiful, but cooler day on the summit.
Raptor Observations:
All around a slow and quiet day in the skies. Not a lot of migration activity.
Non-raptor Observations:
31 species were observed from the summit today. Non-raptor individuals deemed migrating included: 42 American Goldfinches 1 Brown-headed Cowbird 2 Common Mergansers
Predictions:
Another cool day following today. Moderate west winds predicted for tomorrow. I half expect a contingency of today.
