Weather:
An all around chilly day on the summit. Snow and lack of visibility delayed the opening of the count an hour. East winds most of the day shifting southeast for the last hour or so.
Raptor Observations:
It seems we may have a Northern Goshawk hanging around the mountain. An individual was observed several times from the summit and heard calling. Today was another slow day with moderate winds out of the east.
Non-raptor Observations:
29 species were observed from the summit today. Individuals deemed migrating included: 2 Belted Kingfishers 1 Purple Finch
Predictions:
Warm spring temperatures and light to moderate southwest winds through the day predicted for tomorrow. Forecast looks promising for a good flight.
