[Maine-birds] Dickcissel and Red-billed Tropicbird, Seal Island National Wildlife Refuge

Hey Birdy Folks,

This morning I was pleased to find a Dickcissel around our camp out here on Seal Island NWR. Also, the Red-billed Tropicbird has been around the past few days. He seems to prefer nicer weather. The fog... not so much. Also, many shorbs are continuing to move in and we are seeing an increase in theirnumbers. Whimbrel are seen daily out here and it's also a pleasure to hear their wonderful calls. So far this season (since May 2nd) we have logged 151 birds species. I invite you all to view some of my pictures on my flickr account including a nice shot of the Dickcissel with an awful invasive plant (wild radish) in the background... Enjoy.

My very best,
