[Maine-birds] Great Egrets in Addison

We saw 5 Great Egrets in the marsh across from the Addison boat landing today around 11am.  The salt pans next to the Pleasant River bridge yielded only 3 Greater Yellowlegs.
 
Flat Bay continues to fill up with shorebirds feeding on the extensive mud flats before and after low tide.  We see increasing numbers of Semi-palmated Sandpipers/Least Sandpipers and Semi-palmated Plover as well as Short-billed Dowitchers.  Black-bellied Plover numbers remain about the same
 
No Whimbrel today.....
