[Maine-birds] 9 Pine Grosbeaks, 5 Robins and several Starlings appear to compete for crab apples in Kennebunk

Today 9 Pine Grosbeaks, 5 Robins, and several Starlings appeared to be competing for crab apples around 3pm in Kennebunk (near intersection of Route 1 and Ross Road).  They quickly gleaned all the fruit off of and from under one tree and proceeded to the next.  As they went to roost around 4pm there was literally only a handful of apples left.  Dave Doubleday
